Steven H. Tielking, 68 of Greenwood, IN, passed away Thursday June 25, 2020 at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born September 8, 1951 in Franklin, IN to Christian H. Tielking Jr. and Catherine Louise (Cochran) Tielking.

<p>
He was a 1969 graduate of Center Grove High School. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed playing his guitars. Survivors include his son Christian H. Tielking III (Deborah L.) of Franklin, IN, three grandchildren Michael Singleton of Collins, NY, Bryan Singleton (Elizabeth) of Chester, VA and Christian H. Tielking IV of Franklin, IN, five great grandchildren Cynthia Singleton, Michael Singleton Jr., Bryan Singleton Jr., Randy Hoffman and Patricia Singleton, two sisters Christine Marshall (Lance) of New Albany, IN and Lori White (Brian) of Clearwater, FL, a brother Richard L. Scott of La Grange, KY, sister Mary J. Olson La Grange, KY, sister Sue A. Jones of LaGrange, KY, step brother Ronald I. Scott of Texas, step brother Michael W. Scott of California, step brother Dean Scott of Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents. The Reverend David Lee will conduct a service on Tuesday, June 30, 3030 at 1 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at <a href="http://www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/steven-tielking">www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/steven-tielking</a>.

Burial will be in Bluff Creek Cemetery in Greenwood, IN with full military honors conducted by the United States Army Honor Guard and Franklin American Legion Post 205 Honor Guard.
