Jim and Carla (Stevens) Ellis will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married on July 11, 1970 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and were married by Calvin Ellis.
They are planning an anniversary party at the Church of the Firstborn in Martinsville on July 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. with family and friends.
Jim and Carla owned Classic Interiors and have both retired.
The couple have four children, James Ellis, Rocky Ellis, Jessi Bowman, Marlene Burton, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
