GREENWOOD
Jean (Florence) Pollard 85 of Greenwood, IN passed away Sunday July 5, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born December 3, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN to Robert Bruce Florence and Ruth (Kerkhof) Florence. She married David S. Pollard on June 7, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN, he survives. She was a graduate of Southport High School.
She had been a school bus driver for the Center Grove Community School Corporation for 30 years. She enjoyed attending garage sales and going to the lake, fishing and swimming.
Survivors include her husband David S. Pollard of Greenwood, IN, four sons Rodney D. Pollard (Jennifer) of McCordsville, IN, Wesley R. Pollard of Greenwood, IN, Scotty R. Pollard (Denise) of Martinsville, IN and Quincy J. Pollard (Lidia) of Greenwood, IN, two step daughters, Rebecca Dickenson of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Loretta Jones of Ardmore, OK. Two grandchildren Justin Pollard and Lachlan Pollard, four step grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Reverend Rusty Allanson will conduct a service on Friday July 10, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends can connect at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/jean-pollard. Friends may call Friday, July 10, 2020 from 12 Noon until service time at the mortuary with COVID 19 social distancing is requested by those attending. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
