Victoria “Vicki” Lynn (Wilham) Landon

Victoria “Vicki” Lynn (Wilham) Landon, 57, was born on January 21, 1963, to Richard and Rosemary (Perkins) Wilham and passed away on April 12, 2020, in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Center Grove High School in 1981, and earned her B.S. in Physical Therapy from Indiana University in 1986. She enjoyed working for a temporary staffing company for a while which allowed her to travel to different areas of the United States. After being sent to Hawaii, she was part of the Wilcox Memorial Hospital Physical Therapy Department in Lihue, Kauai for almost 30 years, before moving to the Portland, Oregon area.

She was a member of Lihue Missionary Church in Kauai for many years and was active in several of its ministries, including the Moms in Prayer group, working with special needs children, Special Olympics, Bible studies, and the Hula group. She most recently was a member of Living Hope Church in Vancouver, Washington. She especially loved spending time with her son, traveling, photography, and showing family and friends around the island. She was a caring and thoughtful person.

She is survived by her son, Lucas T. Gushikuma of Portland, Oregon; Ken Gushikuma (former husband) of Kapaa, Hawaii; her parents, Richard and Rosemary Wilham of Greenwood, IN; sisters, Rochelle (Jeff) Weddle of Trafalgar, IN; Teresa (Duke) Tom of Greenwood, IN; brother, Michael Wilham of Fortville, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

The Reverend Jeff Buck will conduct a celebration of life service on Saturday, July 11, 2020 with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and the service at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Auburn United Methodist Church, 3100 West Stones Crossing Road in Greenwood, Indiana. A graveside service will be conducted immediately following at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Sarah’s Place Medical Clinic, 1046 SW 6th Avenue SW, Albany, Oregon, 97321. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
