Linda Kay Dye 78 of Greenville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020. She was born August 9, 1941 in Nashville, TN to the late James and Ruth (Callis) Crunk. Linda worked for General Electric for 14 years. She attended Remedy Christian Church and Hill City Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Dye and they were married April 19, 1957. She is also preceded in death by a son, Robert F. Dye Jr. and two sisters, Diane Boland and Barbara Bedel. Linda is survived by her children, Darrel (Amanda) Dye, Justin (Sabrina) Dye, Deborah Dye; brothers, James D. (Anola) Crunk, Dr. Stan (Carrol) Crunk, Ron (Tempe) Crunk; sister, Pat (Ben) Allen; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

To friends, family and all those she met, she gave them love, she often lifted their spirits, she eased their pain, she shared with them her faith, she gave them honest and direct advice and, with her great sense of humor, she brought them joy and laughter.”

A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 20th at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Franklin Township Chapel, 5950 E. Thompson Rd., Indianapolis. Friends may visit from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Linda will be laid to rest at Acton Cemetery.

Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, all guests are required to wear face coverings or masks at visitations and services.
