Gillard remains in contention
A 69 on Tuesday has Center Grove graduate Noah Gillard in the hunt going into today’s final round at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Invitational in Tennessee.
Gillard started hot, collecting four birdies in his first six holes, before a double bogey on the par-4 10th cooled him off somewhat. He enters today tied for 11th, five strokes behind leader Austin Vukovits of Noblesville.
Another former Trojan, Ethan Shepherd, carded a second-round 74 to drop to +2 overall, tied for 32nd.
