Donlee Paul Christie, age 46, of Greenwood, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. He was born on Friday, February 8, 1974 in Beech Grove to Russell Sr. and Ruth Ann Christie.
</p>
<p>
He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was an artist, mixed martial arts enthusiast and instructor, weapons designer, creator, and a master of diguise who loved being a soldier.
</p>
<p>
Most of all he loved his family. He is survived by his daughter: Kennedy Christie of Indianapolis; mother: Ruth Ann Christie of Anderson; siblings: Russell O. (Kristie) Christie, Jr. of Greenwood, Russell A. (Dawn) Christie of Whiteland, James (Teresa) Smith of Ingalls, Angie Sherers of Anderson, Sheri (Tony) Coffey of Floyds Knobs; nephews: Dillon Christie, Brian Wampler, Isaiah Coffey, Elijah Coffey, Quintin Coffey, Nickolas Christie, and Ivan Christie; nieces: Laura Wampler, Alicia Smith, Danika Christie, Delaney Christie, Bianca Coffey, and Cesilie Coffey.

He is preceded in death by his father: Russell O. Christie, Sr.; brother: Boyd Christie; maternal grandmother: Mary Brown; and paternal grandparents: Paul Christie and Ina Johnson.
</p>
<p>
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the VFW Post #1111, 411 S. Indiana St, Mooresville, IN 46158. Arrangements are in the care of Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, Indianapolis.
