Jeffrey Lynn Kellams, 79, of Trafalgar, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020.
</p>
<p>
Jeffrey was born on June 19, 1941 in Columbus, Indiana to the late Gene Kellams and Dorma (Wass) Kellams.
</p>
<p>
Jeffrey is a 25-year Veteran from The United States Navy who visited over 37 countries.During his career, he specialized in the food service department as one of their main chefs aboard ship.
</p>
<p>
After retiring from the military, his love for cooking was admired by many as a flaming chef in Columbus, IN.
</p>
<p>
Jeffrey was a self-taught artist receiving a certificate in Fashion Design from the Art Institute of Chicago.He also had a passion for animals and spent much of his time raising African fish. His family was important to him, especially enjoying time with his grandchildren.
</p>
<p>
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Juliann Kellams; his nephew, Joshua Kellams.
</p>
<p>
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Susan Joy Kellams, of Trafalgar, Indiana; his children, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Kellams II, of Carmel, Indiana, Adam Kellams, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Molly Kellams, of Greenwood, Indiana; his brother, Phillip Kellams, of Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Mya, Kylee, Lylah, Liam, Kayla; his nieces and nephews; many loved ones and his beloved dog Samson.
</p>
<p>
A Celebration of Life service will be held by the family at a later date.
</p>
<p>
