Thefts

  • 90 block of Crescent St.: A woman reported at 4:01 p.m. Monday that she left her keys in the floor board of her van while visiting her mother’s house and when she went to leave the van was gone.
  • 1970 block of Puller Place: A woman reported at 9:13 a.m. Monday that someone had taken a cell phone and her bicycle from her apartment.

1251 N. U.S. 31, Macy’s: Reported at 7:43 p.m. Friday that a battery had occurred.

Forgery/Counterfeiting

254 Marlin Drive, Zaxbys: Reported at 4:04 p.m. Sunday someone tried passing a fake $100 bill.

Fraud

810 block of Cypress North: Reported at 2:24 p.m. Monday a fraud had occurred.

Fraud

270 block of Leaning Tree Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 9:25 a.m. Monday that someone claiming to be from Amazon told him he needed to renew his account and they would charge him to renew his service. He realized it was a scam after they had taken other withdrawals.

  • 7:50 a.m. Monday – Smith Valley Road and Mullinix Road, Greenwood

Thefts

  • County Road 325 E. and State Road 252, Franklin: A man reported at 6:01 p.m. Monday that he observed a man take several items from his vehicle and drive away.
  • 3390 block of Grace St., Greenwood: A man reported at 2:51 p.m. Monday that his license plate was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway.
