Betty Joan (Rairdon) Limp, 85, passed away at her residence at Compass Park at the Indiana Masonic Home on Saturday, August 15, 2020. She was a longtime resident of Franklin.

Betty was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 1, 1935 to Max and Emily (Slubosky) Rairdon.

She is survived by her children, Roger Tearman (Karen), Teresa Tearman, Nancy (Tearman) Paul (Dana), Tracy Tearman, Timothy Limp (Pam), and Kathy Mathena; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and brothers, Robert Rairdon (LaVerne) and Jerry Rairdon. She was preceded in passing by her parents and son, Jeffery Limp.

Betty attended Nineveh Schools.

She owned and operated Betty Limp’s Painting and Wallpapering for over 30 years.

Betty enjoyed bowling, playing softball and darts, and participating in euchre tournaments. Betty never met a stranger.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton Street (U.S. 31) in Franklin. Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 50 E. 91st Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240.
