Greenwood woman injured in single-vehicle accident

A Greenwood woman suffered serious injuries after her SUV went off the road, striking a guardrail and utility pole before it flipped, trapping her inside.

Sheral Miller, 63, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries after the accident, which occurred about 2 p.m. Thursday at Olive Branch Road and Eagle Trace Drive in Greenwood, according to an accident report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office and White River Township Fire Department responded. Crews worked together to free Miller from the car. Her arm was nearly severed, the report said. She was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where she was in fair condition Friday.
