Albert L. NoheBARGERSVILLE, IN.
Albert L. Nohe, 91, of Bargersville, IN passed away Friday, August 21, 2020, at his residence. He was born November 27, 1928 in Oolitic, IN to Aloysius Nohe and Mary Ellen (Meier) Nohe.
He is a veteran of the United States Airforce. He served his country from 1947-1950.
He married Jennalee (McDaniel) Nohe on July 28, 1956 in Indianapolis, IN. She survives.
He was a plumber by trade and was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 440 Union for 30 years retiring in 1993. He was a faithfully served as a member of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple since 1959. His love for the Lord was shown in everything he did. He enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Indiana University Basketball, especially the “Bob Knight” era.
Survivors include his wife Jennalee (McDaniel) Nohe of Bargersville, IN; his children Lisa Johnson (Mike) of Bargersville, IN, Cindy Garrity (Dennis) of Bargersville, IN and Dan Nohe (Tina) of Greenwood, IN; eight grandchildren Mark Hildebrand (Patricia) of Indianapolis, IN, Leah Noel (Jason) of Greenwood, IN, Tyler Nohe (Jessica) of Zionsville, IN, Joshua Garrity of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Johnson (Ashley) of Arlington, TX, Kyle Nohe of Greenwood, IN, Lydia Mansour (Naser) of Greenwood, IN and Stephen Johnson (Colette) of Arlington, TX and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Joseph Nohe, sisters Pauline Engel, Frances Ingram, Mary Alice Brown and Margaret Hughes.
Pastor Matt Roller will conduct a service on Saturday August 29, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live streamed for family and friends to connect at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/albert-nohe.
