Warriors roll on senior night

A hat trick from Yahir Lugardo helped propel Whiteland to a 6-0 home win over New Palestine on Tuesday. The Warriors (1-2-1) also got goals from JD Lompo, Tristan Thomas and Brayden Hall. Nolan Ferguson made four saves to preserve the shutout.

Trojans nearly topple No. 1 Carmel

Fifth-ranked Center Grove was narrowly defeated by No. 1 Carmel, 148-150, in a three-way match at Hickory Stick on Tuesday. Both teams beat Fishers (207).

Sage Parsetich was the co-medalist with a 35, while Meg Fosnot and Camille Short each carded a 38. Lanie DeHaven rounded out the Trojan scoring with a 39.

Trojans lose tight MIC match

Third-ranked Center Grove was edged by No. 2 North Central on Tuesday, 3-2. The Trojans (4-1) won both doubles points, with Landen Finlinson and Bennett Strain taking the point at No. 1 and the second team of Ryan Wiseman and Carson Contos pulling out a three-set win.

Woodmen sweep Artesians

Greenwood cruised to a 5-0 victory at Martinsville on Tuesday, with Ethan Gray, Nick Belovic and Charlie Brooks taking the singles points in straight sets for the Woodmen (4-2). The doubles teams of Thomas Burtt and Aidan Luttrell (No. 1) and Sam Fenner and Noah Paswater (No. 2) both claimed 6-1, 6-0 victories.

Braves earn road win

Indian Creek topped host Southwestern, 4-1, with Brendan Conner and Aiden Pemberton picking up matching 6-0, 6-0 victories at second and third singles. Jake Mitchell and Cass Mitchell won at No. 1 doubles, while Cole Allison and Trent Volz did the same at No. 2.

Edinburgh swept by Brownstown

Visiting Brownstown Central handed Edinburgh a 5-0 defeat on Tuesday.

Grizzly Cubs win league tilt

Franklin rolled past Decatur Central at home on Tuesday, 25-16, 25-14, 25-8, improving to 2-0 overall and in the Mid-State Conference.

Trojans swept by Irish

Despite 18 kills from Katie Egenolf, Center Grove lost to Cathedral on Tuesday, 25-14, 25-19, 25-19. Jenna Otto had 28 assists for the Trojans, while Grace Boggess had eight kills and six total blocks.

Lancers fall in three

Edinburgh was swept by Morristown on Tuesday night, 25-15, 25-20, 25-16. Gracie Crawhorn paced the Lancers with five kills.

Roncalli pulls off sweep

Roncalli took care of Covenant Christian on Tuesday, 25-15, 25-8, 25-15. Erica Eads and Alivia Hill finished with six and five kills, respectively, in the win.
