INDIANAPOLIS
Dianne L. (Bodell) Kendall Flynn 76 of Indianapolis, IN passed away Saturday August 29, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN.
She was born February 26, 1944 in Anderson, IN to John and Oleine (Tremepohl) Bodell. She married Glenn H. Kendall on August 27, 1966, he preceded her in death on June 11, 1978. She later married Norman Ray Flynn on March 16, 1991 in Indianapolis, IN, he survives.
She was a 1962 graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis. She was a homemaker and beautician for fourteen years. She was a sweet woman that always loved other and especially a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an awesome cook and enjoyed cooking for others.
Survivors include her husband Norman Ray Flynn of Indianapolis, IN, two daughters Kay Lynn Hensley (Jerry) of Greenwood, IN and Dee Ann Burgess (Duane) of Greenwood, IN, five grandchildren Brooke Wilson (Derek) of Franklin, IN, Bethany Christy (fianc? Bryn Cavett) of Indianapolis, IN, Eli Christy (Michelle) of Indianapolis, IN, Erica Feltner (Dustin) of Indianapolis, IN and Brent Johnson of Greenwood, IN, two great grandchildren Gracelynn Feltner and Kenneth Christy, two brothers John Curtis “Butch” Bodell (Jean) of Fortville, IN and Don Bodell of Martinsville, IN and a sister Debbie Bodell-Thomas of Indianapolis, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister in law Gayle Bodell and brother in law Russell Thomas.
A service will be conducted on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live streamed for family and friends to connect at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/dianee-flynn.
Friends may call Wednesday September 2, 2020 from 11 a.m. till service time at the mortuary. Due to COVID 19 mandates facial coverings or mask are required for those attending.
