INDIANAPOLIS

Norma Jean Kidwell 90 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on August 30, 2020, surrounded by her loving family at Witham Hospital in Lebanon, IN. She was born on January 11, 1930, in Petersburg, Indiana to parents, Charley Wyatt and Nora (Swann) Wyatt, whom she loved dearly. Most of her childhood years growing up were on the family’s 500-acre farm near Washington, Indiana, a time she often spoke of idyllically.

Norma married and reared five children as a stay at home mom; then in mid-life reentered the working world where she was repeatedly recognized and promoted, eventually starting her own business in 1983, Great Taste Coffee, which she sold upon retirement and thereafter continued to live comfortably. Her greatest joy, always, was being with her family.

Norma was intelligent and multi-talented, and her commitment to live by Christian values was an inspiration to everyone in her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love of God and Country, and love of family.

Norma is survived by her son and three daughters, Charlotte Rabadi of Denver, CO, Brenda Adams (Sam) of Indianapolis, IN, Marilyn Hummel (Frank) of Carmel, IN, and Steven Kidwell of Carmel, IN; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Gary Kidwell, who passed away on September 7, 2014.

She will be terribly missed by friends, but words cannot describe how much she will be missed by her family.
