Kurt and Janet (Weddle) Hass are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married on September 5, 1970 at Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin.
They celebrated ahead of time by taking a Caribbean vacation with their family.
Both Kurt and Janet are retired from Franklin Schools.
The couple have two children Mark (Kristen) Hass, Mandy (Andy) Dudley and three grandchildren.
