Criminal mischief

300 Ohio St., First Separate Baptist Church: A woman reported at 9:27 a.m. Thursday that a railing had been vandalized overnight.

Thefts

  • 2219 N. Morton St., Lowe’s: A manager reported at 8:14 p.m. Thursday that a man exited the store with several tools he did not pay for, threw the tools in the bed of his truck and left. 
  • 880 block of Glendale Drive: Reported at 5:23 p.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.
  • 1030 block of Jefferson St.: A man reported at 1:58 p.m. Thursday that he had a company iPad stolen out of the front seat of his unlocked vehicle.

Burglary

5 block of Middle St.: Reported at 9:45 a.m. Thursday that a burglary had occurred.

Fraud

1020 block of Heatherwood Drive: A woman reported at 3:15 p.m. Thursday that someone opened a Sprint account using her information and made a purchase over $1,400. 

Thefts

  • 890 block of Starflower Trace: Reported at 3:28 p.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.
  • 1251 N. U.S. 31, Macy’s: Reported at 3:19 p.m. Thursday that two people were arrested for theft.
  • 1251 N. U.S. 31, Macy’s: Reported at 2:40 p.m. Thursday that shoplifting had occurred.
  • 900 block of Starflower Trace: Reported at 8:17 a.m. Thursday a theft from a vehicle had occurred.

  • 12:23 a.m. Friday – County Road 425 S. and County Road 625 W., Trafalgar
  • 10:09 p.m. Thursday – State Road 44 and Centerline Road, Franklin
  • 4:07 p.m. Thursday – Fairview Road and Lake Drive
  • 10:45 a.m. Thursday – County Road 400 W. and County Road 100 N., Bargersville
  • 1:55 a.m. Thursday – County Road 800 S. and River Road, Edinburgh

The following people were recently arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Elijah R. Bogan, 24, 1335 Oxford Run, Greenwood; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court and wanted on an out of county warrant; held without bond.

Phillip D. Burge, 42, 124 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh; arrested on charges of domestic battery and invasion of privacy; held without bond.
