Fraud

• 1570 block of Preidt Circle: A woman reported at 6:31 p.m. Wednesday that she received a phone call from who she thought was Johnson Memorial Hospital on her caller ID and gave them her social security number before she realized it was a scam.
• 2801 N. Morton St., Police Department: A man reported at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday that he ordered new checks from his bank, never received them and now three checks had been filled out and cashed at three different banks.

Personal-injury accident

1:17 p.m. Wednesday – U.S. 31 and Commerce Park Drive. Jennifer Spear, 53, Franklin. Spear reported having pain and injury to her neck.

Property-damage accident

2:52 p.m. Wednesday – 2125 N. U.S. 31

Thefts

• 625 Grizzly Cub Drive, Franklin Middle School: A woman reported at 8:16 a.m. Wednesday that someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a black CD case and several other items.
• 711 Commerce Drive, Heartland Storage: A man reported at 12:39 a.m. Thursday that his two wheel vehicle tow dolly had been stolen from storage.

Identity Theft

340 block of Sunburst Lane: Reported at 10:36 a.m. Tuesday that an identity theft had occurred.

Property-damage accidents

• 6:45 p.m. Wednesday – Yorktown Road and Plymouth Rock Way
• 4:04 p.m. Wednesday – County Line Road and Emerson Ave.
• 6:30 p.m. Tuesday – State Road 135 S. and Demaree Road

Thefts

• 870 block of Alice Lane: Reported at 4:33 p.m. Tuesday the theft of a bicycle had occurred.
• 1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 2:54 p.m. Tuesday that a theft had occurred and the suspect fled the store.
• 1260 N. U.S. 31, Viking Sewing Gallery: Reported at 2:27 p.m. Tuesday that a theft had occurred.
• 1266 N. Madison Ave., Payless Liquor: Reported at 1:51 p.m. Tuesday the theft of a vehicle occurred.
• 1195 N. Madison Ave., Certified Auto: Reported at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday that a catalytic converter was stolen.

Fraud

• 1091 Hospital Road, Johnson County Sheriff office: A man reported at 6:32 p.m. Wednesday that he had three separate charges on his bank statement from Apple.com that he did not make.
• 390 block of Windsong Lane, Greenwood: A woman reported at 1:57 p.m. Wednesday, that someone forged her mother’s name on 11 checks and cashed them.

Personal-injury accident

5:38 a.m. Wednesday – State Road 44 W. and State Road 135 S., Franklin. John Davis, 61, Martinsville. Davis reported having fracture/dislocation to his elbow/lower arm.

• 7:40 p.m. Wednesday – County Road 800 W. and County Road 500 S., Trafalgar
• 5:52 p.m. Wednesday – State Road 135 E. and State Road 44 S., Franklin
• 9:05 a.m. Wednesday – County Road 300 and County Road 200 E., Franklin

Theft

900 block N. Peterman Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 7:13 a.m. Wednesday that his work trailer with several tools inside was stolen. 

The following people were recently arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Corey Wade Dodson, 24, 2020 E. Stop 12, Indianapolis; arrested on warrants for failure to appear in court; held on $600 bond.

Tommy R. Casey Jr., 52, 4060 Tarry Lane, Greenwood; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $235 bond.

Cung Bik, 32, 2626 S. E. 112th Ave., Apt. 11, Portland, Oregon; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $350 bond.

Justice K. Wills, 21, 3403 Brandenburg Blvd., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.

Whitney D. Mull, 29, 212 Bel Aire Drive, New Whiteland; arrested on charges of invasion of privacy and bond forfeiture; held without bond.

Matthew Layne Reynolds, 32, 703 Lafayette Ave., Oolitic; arrested on a charge of possession of stolen property; released on $3,300 bond.

Luke Suengmon Olson, 29, 700 Circle Drive, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of failure to stop after an accident; released on $250 bond.

Jonathon M. Huff, 31, 200 Hege Ave., Columbus; arrested on charges of manufacture/dealing methamphetamine; held on $120,000 bond.

Jason Travis Taylor, 40, 1300 Graham Road, Franklin; arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle-habitual offender; released on $1,200 bond.

Cole Alexzander Marquis, 18, 108 N. Grant St., Apt. D, Edinburgh; arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and minor in possession of alcohol; held on $4,000 bond.

Debby Whaley, 51, 8080 Meeting House Road, Dalzell, South Carolina; arrested on a charge of battery; held on $1,000 bond.

Jonathan M. Gibson, 26, 8353 N. Fox Hollow Road, Bloomington; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.

Bryana M. Cundiff, 24, 7819 Southeastern Ave., Indianapolis; also arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia; held on $2,000 bond.

Brittany S. Reinhart, 30, 7641 Ridge Harvest Lane, Indianapolis; held on $1,000 bond.
