880 block of E. Main St.: A man reported at 2:20 p.m. Thursday that two fraudulent checks were written on his checking account and deposited into another bank in Michigan.
Thefts
- 1281 S. Park Drive, La Quinta Inn: Reported at 6:58 a.m. Friday a theft from a vehicle occurred overnight.
- 1190 block of Graham Road: A man reported at 7:12 a.m. Thursday that someone entered his vehicle, took shoes and AirPods. He also believes that a set of automobile keys, belonging to a coworker, were stolen from the car and those keys were used to steal that vehicle.
The following people were recently arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:
Robert Dean Stanfield, 59, 3090 N. U.S. 31, Lot 2, Franklin; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; released on $500 bond.
Joshua Matthew McIntosh, 22, 230 W. Chestnut St., Martinsville; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.
