Trojans sweep Warriors

Center Grove coasted to a 25-5, 25-13, 25-8 sweep of Warren Central on Tuesday. Rylie McMahen had 16 digs and eight aces, while Jenna Otto served up five more aces and dished out 19 assists. Taryn Kennedy and Juliana Weems led the Trojans’ offense with seven and five kills, respectively.

Roncalli wins in four

Olivia Murphy’s 17 kills lifted Roncalli past Brebeuf 25-19, 25-7, 23-25, 25-18. Emma Halter totaled 30 assists and five aces in the win.

Boys soccer

Center Grove blanks Pike

Goals from Ely Detty and Cristian Ruiz lifted Center Grove to a 2-0 victory at Pike on Tuesday. Nolan Howard and Caiden Stoneburner had assists for the Trojans (4-3-1, 2-2-1 MIC).

Roncalli shuts out Scecina

Roncalli beat Scecina, 3-0, behind goals from Connor Mahoney, Jair Ramirez and Sam Gantner.

Girls soccer

Roncalli edged by Braves

Brebeuf Jesuit got the better of Roncalli on Tuesday, pulling out a 1-0 victory.

Boys tennis

Trojans edge Braves

Sixth-ranked Center Grove picked up a 3-2 victory over Brebeuf Jesuit on Tuesday. Luke Embrey and Seth Jasek earned points at second and third singles for the Trojans (11-3), while Landen Finlinson and Carson Contos won at No. 1 doubles.

Lancers swept by Tigers

Edinburgh lost to visiting Triton Central, 5-0. Travis Jones went to a third-set tiebreak at second singles for the Lancers.

Roncalli blanks Giants

A singles sweep from Tyler Schofield, Callum Cougill and Ty Ransburg helped Roncalli blank Ben Davis, 5-0. Sam Limcaco and Liam Moore picked up a point at first doubles, with Cole Elzea and Josh Wormann doing the same at No. 2.

Braves top South Putnam

Indian Creek earned a 4-1 road win over South Putnam on Monday, clinching at least a second-place finish in the WIC. Brendan Conner battled for a three-set win at second singles, while Cole Allison and Trent Volz did the same at No. 2 doubles. Jaden Schrougham and Aiden Pemberton won in straight sets at first and third singles for the Braves (9-2, 6-1), with Pemberton improving to 11-0 on the year.

Girls golf

Lancers topple Woodmen

Morgan Calhoun shot a 46 to lead Edinburgh to a 209-224 triumph over Greenwood at Valle Vista on Tuesday. Annelise Lollar added a 51 for the Lancers.

Trojans win three-way

Center Grove defeated Warren Central and North Central at Morningstar. Natalie Wilson and Rowen Pfeifle each shot 45 for the Trojans, while Haidyn Brooks, Nora Ader and Ellie Adkisson all came in at 46.

Grizzly Cubs earn road win

Franklin topped Shelbyville at River’s Edge, 188-214. Kalyn Dickey carded a 44 for the Grizzly Cubs, followed by Rylie Wilkison (45), Maria Williams (48) and Addie Livorno (51).

Cougars come up short

Greenwood Christian lost to Southwestern at Timbergate, 213-231. Ashtyn Witte led the way for the Cougars with a round of 47.
