Paddock Road in Greenwood will be closed for two weeks while crews install a new sewer pipe.
The road closure will be less than a mile south of the intersection Smith Valley Road intersection on the city’s west side. It is set to close at 7 a.m. today, and reopen Oct. 8, according to a Johnson County Highway Department news release.
Paddock Road will be closed to all traffic, but accessible to area residents. Local and emergency traffic can access Paddock Road north or south of the site by using the signed detour on Smith Valley Road, Morgantown Road and Olive Branch Road, according to the news release.
The road closure is so a new sanitation sewer pipe can be installed, the news release said.Â
