Young helps Grace to first-place finish at tournament

<p>Sophomore <strong>Lucy Young</strong> secured medalist honors with a 74 for Grace College at the Pure Michigan Invitational at Quail Ridge Golf Club in Ada, Michigan. The former Center Grove player helped lead the Lancers to the team title with a score of 305.</p><p><strong>CENTER GROVE</strong></p><p>Defensive back <strong>Russ Yeast</strong> contributed five tackles for the Louisville football team in its 47-34 home loss to No. 17 Miami.</p><p>Louisiana kicker <strong>Nate Snyder</strong> converted all four point-after attempts and averaged 44.8 yards on his five kickoffs as the 19th-ranked Ragin’ Cajuns won at Georgia State in overtime, 34-31.</p><p><strong>GREENWOOD</strong></p><p>Grace College junior <strong>Jacob Gray</strong> helped the Lancers’ men’s tennis team down Huntington, 5-2. Gray took part in No. 3 doubles for a 6-1 victory. Gray also helped No. 2 doubles win in the team’s 7-0 victories against Trine and Bethel.</p><p>Huntington junior goalkeeper <strong>Maddy Moan</strong> made nine saves in her team’s 10-1 loss at Marian.</p>
