Ray Lynn Martin, 66 of Bargersville, passed away at his residence on Friday, September 25, 2020.
</p>
<p>
He was born on October 5, 1953 in Franklin to James and Mildred (Dittemore) Martin. Ray married Darlene K. (Wocherfeng) Martin on October 1, 1977. She lovingly survives. Ray is also survived by sons, Elgin R. Martin and wife Andrea and Dustin P. Martin and wife Amanda; and granddaughters, Emily, Addison, Lauren, Kirsten and Greta. Also surviving are two sisters, Gay Patterson and Joy Perry and one brother, Danny Martin and wife Nancy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his parents; brother, James (Larry) Martin and sister, Darlene West.
</p>
<p>
Ray was a 1972 graduate of Franklin Community High School.
</p>
<p>
He was a lifelong farmer, farming in Johnson, Monroe and Owen counties.
</p>
<p>
Rev. Jack McMahon will conduct a celebration of Ray’s life on Thursday, October 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, September 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial contributions to be made to the Johnson County 4-H Star Fund. Please may checks payable to Johnson County Community Foundation at 398 S. Main Street Franklin, Indiana 46131.
