Wade G. Knorr, 81 of Greenwood, Indiana passed away September 24, 2020. He was born July 8, 1939 in Waverly, New York to the late Chester & Dorothy Knorr. After graduating from Hammond High School he worked as an accountant and for the Post Office before joining the Air Force in 1962.

Wade was a model railroad enthusiast. Model trains began as a hobby for Wade and became a way of life, where he worked for the railroad for many years. He had a huge model train display in his basement. He also enjoyed hunting at a property in the Poconos & fishing. He also loved to putter around at his lake property in Brown County, IN and spending time with family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him. He had a great sense of humor and loved playing pranks on people.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Ashley Renee Kuehner. He is survived by his wife, Jane E. Knorr; daughter, Pamela Sue Knorr (David) Kuehner; brothers, Raymond and twin brother, Wayne (Leah) Knorr; sister, Gail (Arthur) Brown and a grandson, Christopher Scott (Janise) Kuehner.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 1, from 5:00 to 7:00 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood. A Life Celebration will take place 2:00 Friday, October 2 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery. Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, all guests are required to wear face coverings or masks at visitations and services.
