Mary Sue Miller, 89 of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020.

She was born on July 26, 1931 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to Ernest and Ollie (Sims) Smith. She married Jack D. Miller. He preceded her in passing. Sue is survived by three children, Beverly (Daniel) Gibson of Franklin, Indiana; Cheryl (Dave) Black of Davenport, Florida and Michael (Kimberly) Miller of Indianapolis, Indiana; her brother, Carl Smith of Louisville, Kentucky; her eight grandchildren, Steve Combs, Eric Gibson, Nicole Combs, Keith Gibson, Tiffany Miller, Brittany Miller; Sarah McCloud and Chris McCloud and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Jack; one brother and four sisters.

She attended Monroe County High School in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.

She was very involved at First Baptist Church in Franklin for many years. She also volunteered at the Johnson County Food Pantry and donated time to the community. She was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed many family activities and also enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends.

Rev. Homer Ford will conduct a celebration of Sue’s life on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Flinn ad Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with calling on Thursday, October 8 from 11:00 a.m. to time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sue to the Alzheimer’s Association at 50 E. 91st Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240.
