Franklin

Criminal mischief

  • 4050 block of Jason Ave.: A man reported at 7:39 p.m. Monday that a juvenile ran over his political sign in his front yard.
  • 3090 N. Morton St., Pennington’s Mobile Home Park: A man reported at 8:29 a.m. Monday that someone had busted out his vehicle’s window.

Fraud

2010 block of Cedar Lane: A woman reported at 12:49 p.m. Monday that she received a letter from a collection agency for a debt on a credit card that she never made.

Hit and Run

W. King St. and Walnut St.: A man reported at 8:48 p.m. Monday that he heard a loud crash, went to see what it was and observed a white vehicle had hit the rear bumper of his parked truck and it pushed his truck into another vehicle.

Theft

580 block of Lemley St.: A woman reported at 9:34 a.m. Monday that someone entered her unlocked vehicle, stole her drivers license, credit cards and had made a few purchases before she closed the accounts.

Greenwood

Thefts

  • 100 Surina Way, Greenwood Community Center: Reported at 8:39 p.m. Monday the theft of an iPhone had occurred.
  • 1251 N. U.S. 31, U-Haul: Reported at 9:23 a.m. Monday that someone stole several items from the east side of the mall parking lot within the last two weeks. 
  • 895 S. State Road 135, Target: Reported at 9:13 a.m. Monday a man was arrested for theft.

The following people were recently arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Donna Jo Burton, 42, 1036 Union St., Columbus; arrested on charges of public intoxication by alcohol/drugs and disorderly conduct; held on $1,000 bond.
