79 of Greenwood, Indiana passed away October 9, 2020. He was born on January 19, 1941 in Marion, Kentucky to the late Marshall Alan & Thelma Lou (Brown) Turley. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, Richard Turley. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Patricia Ann Turley; son, Jeff (Jennifer) Turley; sister, Mary Faye (Gilbert) Goodwin; four grandchildren, Josh, Taylor, Jordan & Jacie and six great grandchildren, Isaac, Hadley, Tiller, Owen, Elliott and Grant.

The word devotion when defined is the love, loyalty and enthusiasm for a person, activity or cause. Ron was devoted to everything he sought in life. From his wife to his two sons and from his four grandchildren to his 6 great grandchildren to his family business he built from the ground up. Ron also found the capacity to reach into the Greenwood community in various youth sports leagues through coaching and as a board member. Anything Ron pursued was only to better and improve the quality of life to those around him. Ron, you were as authentic as they come and we all will treasure the love you gave us beyond comprehension. Godspeed.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood, IN with a Celebration of Ron’s Life begging at 2:00pm. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.

Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, all guests are required to wear face coverings or masks at visitations and services.
