Burglary

480 block of Ohio St.: A man reported at 12:08 p.m. Saturday that unknown suspects broke into his detached garage and stole several items.

Criminal mischief

  • 1380 block of Wright Court: A man reported at 10:42 a.m. Saturday that his political sign had been destroyed overnight.

Hit and Run

  • Paris Drive and E. King St.: A man reported at 8:23 p.m. Monday that a vehicle did not stop at the next entrance to the roundabout, struck his vehicle and left the scene. 
  • 240 block of Circle Drive: A woman reported at 7:48 a.m. Monday that a dark colored truck had hit two utility poles and fled the scene.
  • 950 block of Graham St.: A man reported at 8:58 a.m. Sunday that an older light blue vehicle hit his vehicle and pushed it into his girlfriend’s vehicle then drove away.

Thefts

  • 690 block of S. State St.: A man reported at 7:04 a.m. Monday that a large amount of scrap copper had been stolen from the demolition site over the weekend.
  • 2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: A loss prevention employee reported at 8:09 p.m. Sunday that a man came into the store and stole some items before fleeing in his vehicle.
  • 2020 block of Acorn Road: A woman reported at 3:45 p.m. Sunday that her firearm had been stolen.
  • 330 block of North Drive: A man reported at 3:10 p.m. Sunday the theft of two of his Trump/Pence signs from his front yard.
  • 310 block of North Drive: A woman reported at 12:58 p.m. Sunday the theft of her Trump/Pence sign from her front yard.
  • 55 S. Morton St., RNR Tire Express: A manager reported at 4:32 p.m. Friday that a customer’s truck had the catalytic converter cut of it.
  • 180 block of Bartram Parkway: A man reported at 11 a.m. Friday, he parked his vehicle, left his keys in the center console and when he came back from lunch he found clothes thrown all over his vehicle and his keys now missing.

1330 block of Blue Heron Lane: Reported at 11:17 p.m. Monday that a fraud on two credit cards had occurred.

Identity Theft

890 block of Cypress South: Reported at 10:13 a.m. Monday an online report to an identity theft occurred.

1:10 p.m. Friday – State Road 135 N. and Stones Crossing. Chase Smith, 19, Trafalgar. Smith reported having pain and injury to his neck.

Thefts

  • 1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 6:30 p.m. Monday that shoplifting had occurred.
  • 1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 1:30 p.m. Monday that shoplifting had occurred.
  • 490 block of Carol Drive: Reported at 11:30 a.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.
  • 500 block of N. Meridian St.: Reported at 10:57 a.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.

Burglary

5460 block of W. Smokey Row Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 10:28 a.m. Monday that someone broke into his son’s house and stole several items.

Fraud

4550 block of W. Stones Crossing, Greenwood: A man reported at 8:51 p.m. Monday that someone had made eight fraudulent transactions on his credit card.

Theft

1091 Hospital Road, Johnson Memorial Hospital, Franklin: Reported at 10:52 a.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.

The following people were recently arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Austin Downing McDermott, 26, 1536 Younce St., Franklin; arrested on a charge of failure to stop after accident; released on $1,000 bond.

Kayce Lynn Rehl, 31, 1583 Franklin Place Court, Franklin; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.

Brandon Lamar McNeil, 21, 3652 N. Kenwood Ave., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.

Renee Nicole Colyer, 34, 72 Aujuli Court, New Whiteland; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held on $1,500 bond.

Joshua Robert Hall, 34, 5047 Johnson St., Greenwood; arrested on a charge of confinement; held on $3,300 bond.

The following people were recently arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Julia Helen Deubner, 29, 1737 W. Miami St., Indianapolis; also arrested on charges of driving while suspended with prior suspension and possession of marijuana/hashish; bond information unavailable.
