Short shoots second-round 69 for Southern Indiana

Southern Indiana men’s golfer Peyton Short helped the Screaming Eagles win the seven-team Music City Invitational in Old Hickory, Tennessee. The freshman and former Center Grove player shot a bogey-free round of 69 in the second round to finish with an overall total of 147.

Marian University women’s soccer player Delanie Hill made good on one of her two shot attempts in the second-ranked Knights’ 5-0 shutout of St. Francis, helping the team improve to 11-0.

UIndy Emma Treibic finished 46th at the Great Lakes Valley Conference women’s cross country meet with a time was 24 minutes, 3.82 seconds. In the men’s race, UIndy sophomore Andrew Bixler placed 44th in 26:53.92.
