Center Grove’s comeback bid came up just short in a 45-44 loss at Warren Central on Thursday. Ella Hobson finished with 17 points to lead the Trojans (1-3), followed by Mary Wilson with 12.

Due to an editorial oversight, the honorable mention All-County selections from Franklin were left off of the list published Thursday. The Grizzly Cubs who should have been included are Chloe Hoy, Scarlett Kimbrell and Lauren Sandrock.

Virtual fundraiser scheduled
Franklin College will host an online fundraiser called #GRIZTuesday on Dec. 1, with all donations going to support the school’s athletic programs. The event is intended to help out teams who have not been able to conduct their usual fundraising activities due to the pandemic.
The web link for the event will be released on the college’s social media platforms beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Donors may direct their gift to their favorite team or a general athletics fund. The website will display a running tally of the number of donors and amounts raised for each team.
