Penny Lynn Tatman Rutherford, 63 of Greensburg passed away at 11:48 a.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 17, 1957 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was raised in Columbus and has been a Greenburg resident for the past six months. Penny graduated from Columbus East High School in 1976. She enjoyed baking, crafts and collecting holiday items. She married Richard Rutherford in Ringold, Georgia on May 9, 1987 and he survives. Other survivors include her daughters, Lindsay Nicole Prather of Columbus and Rachael McChaley Tanner of Bargersville; son, Jeffrey Todd Fish of Edinburgh; sisters, Tammy Tatman LaRue of Columbus and Michelle Larie Stout Moscow; brothers, Christopher Tatman of Portland, Tennessee and Darrin Keith Warner of Rushville and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Marie (Hearld) Warner and grandparents, Clarence & Nellie Fogle. Following her wishes Penny will be cremated and there will be no public visitation or service. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home & Crematory have been entrusted with the arrangements.
