Woodmen sweep three-way
Greenwood opened its season by defeating Roncalli, 63-38, and New Palestine, 54-48, on Thursday evening. Madison Peckinpaugh (200 and 500 freestyle), Grace Nuhfer (50 free, 100 butterfly), Hailey Peckinpaugh (100 free, 100 breaststroke) and Naomi Weaver (200 IM, 100 backstroke) were all double individual winners for the Woodmen, who also took two of three relays and got a first-place finish from diver Grace Taylor.

Warriors fall to Millers
Picking up a new opponent on short notice, Whiteland wound up on the wrong end of a 74-24 decision against Class 4A No. 10 Noblesville on Thursday night. The Warriors (2-2) will host Center Grove in the Johnson County tournament final on Saturday.
