Richard Lee Wood, 77 of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, November the 18th at 11:33 pm at St. Francis Hospice House. He was born in Johnson County to the late Viola (Telto) Wood and Garner Wood Sr. Dick was a long time member of Greenwood First Baptist Church.

<p>
Dick is survived by his wife, Deborah "Debby" Wood, his daughter’s Stacey (Keith) Pennington, Tricia (Philip) Milto. His step children, Monte (Stephanie) and Gordon (Celine) Meier. He is also survived by 4 granddaughters, Alyssa Pennington, of Pennsylvania, Kelsey Pennington, of California now of Greenwood, Emily Meier of Indianapolis and 3 grandsons, Nicholas Milto (Lindsey), PJ Milto, Joey Milto all from Greenwood, also one great granddaughter, Sage Pennington, now of Greenwood. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Dean (Kathy) Wood. He is also survived by a large family of nieces and nephews and friends.

Dick was welcomed into heaven by his grandson, Nathan Milto, who preceded him. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Garner Wood Jr. (Jean), Carl Eugene (Edwina), Imogene Murphy, James Donald (Velma).
</p>
<p>
Dick also loved to fish, sing and he was proud to be a "Barber-shopper".

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
