John Kenneth "Johnny" "Buck" Wright, 71, lifelong resident of Franklin, IN passed away Monday, November 23, 2020. He was born November 8, 1949 in Franklin, IN to Charles Thomas Wright and Frances (Parker) Wright.
</p>
<p>
He lived his entire life on the Wright Family Farm in Franklin, IN and carried on the 60 plus years of the family tradition of selling mums at the farm. He also operated a roadside stand there selling his vegetables with special pride in his tomatoes and pumpkins. Johnny was a regular at the Franklin Farmers Market selling vegetables and melons from his red pick-up truck. He was also renowned for crafting knives. Along with being a lifelong farmer, he also had been a general contractor with John Limp and the late Danny Limp and the late Larry Wilkerson. He and his dear friend John Limp opened the doors of the The Willard in 1986 and the Jeff Street Pub in 1998. They renovated the interiors of both establishments.

Survivors include his sister Sharon Acton and her husband Roger of Franklin, IN; cousins of the Wright, Bechman and Parker families; and a close-knit group of friends.
</p>

Dr. Quentin Small will conduct a private family graveside service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
</p>

A celebration of life service will be forthcoming in the summer of 2021.
