FORTVILLE
Michael Jay Milner, age 66, of Fortville, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020. He was born in Warsaw, Indiana on March 19, 1954 to Kenneth and Ruth (True) Milner. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School.
He worked for the Hancock County Highway Department as a road foreman since 1987. Michael was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed being outside and doing yard work. Michael loved riding his Harley Davidson and going to the Smoky Mountains.
Michael is survived by his very good friend, Theresa Wethington; daughter, Angela Miler; and grand dog, Poppy Jay. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Ruth Milner; and sister, Virginia Kemerly.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 124 E. Staat Street, Fortville, IN 46040. As a reminder, the government mandate requires guests to wear masks when inside our building. We are limited to a capacity of 50 guests at a time and please practice social distancing.
