NEW WHITELAND, INDIANA

<p>
John R. Fraser, 89, of New Whiteland, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
</p>
<p>
John was born on September 25th, 1931 in Wabash, Indiana to the late Lincoln John Fraser and Nina (Bliss) Fraser.
</p>
<p>
John was self-employed as an auto repair mechanic for most of his life.
</p>
<p>
John was a traveler at heart and had seen much of the world. He had visited 49 out of the 50 States as well as Canada, Poland, and Russia. He was featured on the television program "Across Indiana" for his numerous travels. John had a wide array of interests which included cars, space and time pieces, and jazz music. He was an avid bowler and bowled his best game just prior to his passing. He loved to spend his time reading and making memories with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

John is survived by his three children, Jon Carl Fraser, of Camby, Indiana, Vincent Lawrence (Melissa) Fraser, of Whiteland, Indiana, Linda Michelle Waymon, of Needham, Indiana; his three grandchildren, Andrew (Chaunda) Waymon, Daniel Waymon, Raeann Fraser; his five great-grandchildren, Emily, Evan, David John, Alianna, Josephine; his brother, Fred Fraser, of Monticello, Indiana.
</p>
<p>
John was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Heather Caudill; his great-grandchild, Jayla; his parents and his six siblings.
</p>
<p>
A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 4th, 2020 at 6:00 PM at Jessen Funeral Home ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 4:00 PM until the funeral hour.
</p>
<p>
Per the Indiana State Governor, Eric Holcomb, and the Indiana State Department of Health’s mandate, all services and visitations are limited to 50 people or less as of November 15th, 2020. Masks are mandatory and are to be worn at all times.
</p>
<p>
Arrangements are entrusted to Jessen Funeral Homes & Crematory ~ Whiteland Chapel.
</p>
