Richard Lee McGuire, 73, of Columbus passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at his home. He was born April 13, 1947 Loogootee, Indiana to Edgar and Elsie Reece Ward McGuire.
</p>
<p>
Richard served his country in the Airforce and was a retired service technician for Century Link Telephone Company after 37 years of service. He enjoyed golfing and wood working.
</p>
<p>
He is survived by his wife, Jacquie (Spears) McGuire of Taylorsville, his son, Anthony (Paige) McGuire and his grandson, Ellis McGuire of Indianapolis, brother, Robert McGuire of Columbus, sister, Jane Carrico of Loogootee, Indiana. He was preceded by his parents and a brother, Kenneth McGuire.

Due to the Covid-19 virus there will be no services at this time. Services entrusted to Jewell ~ Rittman Family Funeral Home.
