Bill and Donna (Starks) Ray will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on December 23, 1970 in Martinsville.
The high school sweethearts plan on celebrating with their family at a later date.
Both Bill and Donna are retired.
The couple have four children, Billy Ray Jr., Matthew Ray, Shawna Conner, Joshua Ray, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
