HUDSON, FL
Ruth Ann (Patterson) Lumpkin went to be with her Lord and savior on December 8, 2020 peacefully at 9:54 am at her home in Hudson, FL at 89 years of age.
She was born to Daniel and Florence ( Connor) Patterson June 27, 1931 in Franklin, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister, son, & grandson.
She is survived by daughters: Helen (Mark) Townsend of Rapid City, SD, Lana Porter (Bill Cameron) of Hudson, FL, son: Howard (Marciel) Bean of Roxas City, Philippines, 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her cat of 14 years Kleo.
She was known to many as Pat. She never knew a stranger and would help anyone in need. She was a healthcare worker most of her working life. She enjoyed country music, word finds, & reading the Bible. She was extremely talented artistically and could draw and paint anything. She spent her remaining days enjoying talking with her first cousin Mary Alice Roberts of Nineveh, IN, second cousin Shirley Kay Roberts of Whiteland, IN and niece Terry Roberson Indianapolis, IN.
In lieu of flowers the family ask you donate to a favorite animal charity as Ruth was a big animal lover.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later time.
