Cougars cap tournament with victory
Izzy Reed and Brooklyn Stubblefield erupted for 31 points apiece as Greenwood Christian clobbered host Union City, 87-54, in the third-place game of the Union City Invitational on Wednesday. The Cougars improve to 8-4 with the win.
Trojans split tough duals
Center Grove won one of three against tough competition at the Perry Meridian Duals on Wednesday. The ninth-ranked Trojans defeated No. 4 Brownsburg 35-33 but lost to No. 3 Crown Point 45-21 and the No. 7 Falcons 36-33.
Noah Clouser and Hayden Watson were 3-0 on the day at 132 and 145 pounds, respectively, for Center Grove. Also unbeaten was 182-pounder Drake Buchanan, who defeated top-ranked Aiden Warren of Perry Meridian.
