Hearts & Darts – December 28

Hearts

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Town of Edinburgh and the community for the outpouring of love, support and respect that was shown for Darrell Burton. Our family knows his love was exceptional for many and we also know he would be so touched by the presence of each and every one of you. Your thoughtfulness lifted us up when our hearts were heavy and we sincerely thank you for taking the time out of your lives to pause for ours. We are so appreciative of all the food, supplies and gifts that allowed us to have wonderful fellowship with our family that was most needed. We would also like to thank Edinburgh Separate Baptist for the beautiful service along with Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home who provided excellent service and care.

Norma, Curt (Debbie), Bryant (Brenda), Dustin (Ruby and Carleigh), Devin (Dawson and Olivia), Corbin and Abby Burton.

Edinburgh

Hearts to the nurses and doctors working the COVID unit at Johnson Memorial Hospital. They work very hard under stressful conditions and do it with care and a smile. All were very attentive and worked at making me more comfortable in what was for me was a scary and painful situation. Thank you for your dedication.

Marsha Isbell

Bargersville

Giant hearts to all the parents of Franklin Community Schools for their understanding and patience during these last few weeks with all the changes that took place due to staff shortages. A special big heart to the City of Franklin for lending us two of their awesome mechanics that stepped right in to help us out. And last but not least to our many bus drivers that stepped up and filled in when and where they were needed to get the students picked up and taken home safely. We are a Family.

Patty Kinney

Franklin Community Schools Transportation Department

We just wanted to send a huge thank you to everyone with Discover Downtown Franklin that made this years Christmas lighting possible. Driving thru downtown, especially after that recent snow was nothing short of spectacular and a real "feel-good moment!" It’s just another one of the reasons why the efforts of the folks at DDF help to make Franklin the shining star that it is.

Mike and Connie Hill

Franklin
