FRANKLIN, IN

Ann Wininger Bullington, 89, of Franklin IN left this world into the loving arms of her Savior on December 30, 2020. Ann was born on December 20, 1931 and raised in French Lick IN, the only child of R.M. (Kelly) and Naomi Wininger , where she met her life long love George in elementary school. The home town sweethearts were married in 1950 after spending 1 year at college, and starting raising their family in Terre Haute. Ann was a homemaker, devoting herself to faith and family. She and George lived in Indianapolis while he went to IU Med School, and settled in Franklin in 1958 with sons Mike and Doug, and daughter Debbi. The twins Diane and Dana came along to complete their family.

While George practiced medicine in Whiteland, and later Radiology at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Ann served as a Sunday School teacher, Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader, volunteer for Job’s Daughters, and a constant room mother for her children. She was a member of the Johnson County Medical Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star in French Lick, and a pillar at Franklin Memorial Christian Church (now Victory Church). She received the Thanks Badge honor for her work in Girl Scouting for 12 years and was Missy Bull to countless Franklin girls. She attended each ball game, spelling bee, competition, concert and science fair of her 5 children. Ann was known for her generous and loving spirit and was frequently a source of Christian counsel for friends and family. She taught Sunday School as a teen, and then for over 30 years at FMCC. Ann brought countless souls to her Lord Jesus, and her prayer is that this legacy continues to reach others.

She was the grandmother of 15, and has 21 great grandchildren, with another on the way, and her family was her greatest joy.

Left to honor her life and legacy are her sons Michael George Bullington (Karen), Douglas Kelly Bullington (Gayla) of Franklin, and daughters Debra Ann Teets of Carmel. Diane Jill Barnett of Franklin, and Dana Jan Barnett (Les) of Dayton Ohio. She is the proud Mimi to her grandchildren Amanda Bullington Ray (Chris), David Bullington (Susan), Matthew Bullington (Sarah), Brian Bullington (Karen), Laura Bullington Alexander (Nick), Kelly Barnett Backscheider (Mark), Tom Bullington, Joshua Barnett (Kaicy), Erin Bullington Colston (Nathan), Jason Teets, Corey Barnett (Kara), Nathan Barnett (Megan), Jessi Teets West, Krista Barnett, Leslie Anna Barnett.
