GREENWOOD, IN.
Norma (Young) Murphy 84 of Greenwood, IN passed away Monday January 4, 2021 at Greenwood Meadows. She was born September 15, 1936 in Clark Township, Johnson County, Indiana to Claude and Ila D. Young. She was a 1955 graduate of Clark Township School. She had been a certified nursing assistant and an administrative assistant at FMC Link Belt in Indianapolis, IN. Survivors include her daughter Denese Ann Waldman (Scott) of Baltimore, Maryland, her son Patrick Michael Murphy (Kristin) of Morgantown, IN, three grandchildren Tanner Murphy, Ty Murphy and Meleah Murphy, a brother Donald Young. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gerald Wayne Young, Ronald Young, Oris Young and a sister Roberta Terhune. The Reverend Shan Rutherford will conduct a graveside service Thursday January 7, 2021 at 10:30AM at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
