Larry D. Andry 80 of Indianapolis, IN passed away Sunday January 10, 2021 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN. He was born April 25, 1940 in Birdseye, Indiana to William Herman Andry and Alma (Wright) Andry. He married Susan L. "Sue" (Ebbens) Andry on September 23, 1995 at Emmanuel Church at Stones Crossing in Greenwood, IN, she survives. He retired after 37 years of service at the Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis, IN as a receiving clerk. He was a member of Emmanuel Church Banta Campus in Indianapolis. He was also a member of the United Auto Workers Union and was a volunteer for Mended Hearts. He also had been a volunteer ambulance driver for Box 13 Ambulance Service and the Volunteer Fire Department both in Perry Township, Indianapolis. Survivors include his wife Susan L. "Sue" (Ebbens) Andry of Indianapolis, IN, children Gary D. Andry (Susan) of Winchester, OH, Gregory D. Andry (Elizabeth) of Greenwood, IN and Kristy L. Porento (Travis Gillison) of Greenwood, IN, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one brother Lowell Andry (Linda) of Bradenton, FL and a sister Lora Gibson of Bradenton, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Brian A. Porento on June 26, 2002, brothers Kevin Bailey, Noel Andry and Allen Andry and a sister Janice Goldman. The Reverend Marion Glover will conduct a service on Friday January 15, 2021 at 2:30 P.M. at Emmanuel Church Banta Campus 6602 South Harding Street in Indianapolis, IN where friends may call from 12:30PM till service time at the church. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday January 16, 2021 at 3PM at Andry Cemetery in Birdseye, Indiana with a visitation from 1PM until 2:30 PM at the Birdseye Christian Church on State Road 145 in Birdseye, IN.
