FRANKLIN, IN.
Debbie S. (Gilbert) Compton 63, of Franklin, IN passed away Friday January 15, 2021. She was born September 10, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN to Kenneth R. and Louella Marie (Bundy) Gilbert. She married Tom R. Compton on June 3, 1977 in Franklin, IN, he survives. She was a 1976 graduate of Franklin Community High School. She had been an assembler for thirteen years for Specialty Connector in Franklin retiring in 1994. She had also been a healthcare giver for many years. She loved making people happy giving gifts, visiting Las Vegas, dancing to music, laying in the sun and her dog Daisy and late dog Ginger. The highlight of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and marrying her second grade sweetheart Tom. Her family meant everything to her and always wanted the happy and loved parties. Survivors include her husband of forty three years Tom R. Compton of Franklin, IN, two daughters Sabrina M. Compton-Rosetto (Christopher) of Greenwood, IN and Erica N. Compton of Franklin, IN, four grandchildren Noah T. Compton, Alana Rosetto, Lincoln Cloyd and Brianna Miller, her rock-best friend-sister and angel Vicki Seacat (Ronnie) of Trafalgar, IN, siblings Deloris York (Randy) of Indianapolis, IN, Brenda Shirley (Randy) of Ft. Myers, FL, Kenny Gilbert (Glenda) of Franklin, IN and Ricky Gilbert (Cindy) of Franklin, IN, sister in laws Phyllis Lewis (Bob) of Whiteland, IN, Dianne Pfenning (Joe) of Franklin, IN, Mary Jo Reed (Marshall) of Franklin, IN, Barbara Whetstine (Doug) of Franklin, IN, Connie Grider of Franklin, IN and Wilma Gilbert of Franklin, IN, a brother in law Jamie Smith of Bargersville, IN, twenty three nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth R. and Louella Marie (Bundy) Gilbert, a brother Donald Gilbert on December 31, 2020, a sister Janice Gilbert and father in law Roscoe Compton and mother in law Wilma Jean Grimm.
