Marilyn Ann (Edmondson) Sluder, 90 of Greenwood, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021.

She was born on August 9, 1930 in Jasonville, Indiana to Carl Edmondson and Grace (Terrell) Edmondson. She married Ira Wayne Sluder on June 12, 1948. He preceded her in passing on December 12, 2011. She is survived by daughter, Brenda (Sluder) Clymer-Fields (Jerry); son, Stephen Sluder; siblings, Larry Joe Edmondson, Dorothy Marie Edmondson-Dove; sister-in-law, Ladonna Jane Edmondson; grandchildren, Angela Elliott (Derrick), Shawnn Parr, Lester Clymer (Chrissy), Robert Sluder (Brandy), David Sluder (Cathy), Edward Sluder, (Tammy), Josh Stecher, and Misty Stecher; great-grandchildren, Luke, Kayla, Desiree, Ava, Piper, Hannah, Ethan, Natalya, Jadon, Gabriella, Anderson, Jackson and McKenzie and great-great grandchild, Oliver. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband; daughter Jill Rayette (Sluder) Stecher; son-in-law Lannie Stecher; grandson, Christopher Stecher; daughter-in-law, Lorraine (Coseboon) Sluder and siblings, Edgar “Kenny” Edmondson, Jim Edmondson, Robert “Bob” Edmondson, Jane Edmondson, Mary Ashcraft and two infant brothers.

Marilyn was a 1948 graduate of Jasonville High School.

She was a homemaker. Marilyn co-owned and operated with her husband, Ira “Clocks, Clowns and Sounds” in Nashville, Indiana for ten plus years.

She was a member of New Life Fellowship Church in Whiteland. She was a devoted member of the Church of God denomination for over seventy years. She taught Sunday school for over fifty years. She enjoyed crafts and painting. She loved her family and her church family.

A private family service will be live streamed on Tuesday, January 26 at 10:00 a.m. on Flinn and Maguire’s Facebook page. Burial will be at Peavey Cemetery in Jasonville, Indiana.
