Connie Jean Goetcheus, 73 of Franklin, passed away at her residence on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
</p>
<p>
She was born on October 28, 1947 in Franklin, Indiana to Bertha Olen (Smith) and Howard Belden. She married Lowell Dean Goetcheus on October 26, 1972. He loving survives. Also surviving is one sister, Patty (Jim) Payne; son, Jon (Chris) Goetcheus; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her mother, father and twin brother, Ronnie and two aunts, Pearl Smith and Thelma Smith.
</p>
<p>
She was a 1965 graduate of Franklin Community High School.
</p>
<p>
She was employed by Norplex and retired from Honeywell after thirty years of dedicated service.
</p>
<p>
She enjoyed boating at Dale Hollow and drawing and painting and butterflies. She loved and trusted the Lord.
</p>
<p>
Public Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, January 24 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Due to Covid-19 mandates, masks and facial coverings are required with social distancing guidelines. A private family service will be live streamed on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. on Flinn and Maguire’s Facebook page. Pastor Tom Richason will be officiating.
