Roger Lee Miller, 83 of Franklin, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021.

He was born on February 26, 1937 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Donald W. and Dorothy M. (Kidwell) Miller. Roger is survived by daughter, Monica Park of Franklin, and nieces and nephews, Halcie Coffman, Hugh Miller, Jerry Miller, Don Miller, Steve Miller, Mark Miller, Johnny Miller, Linda Carter-Burcham, Terry Boyer, Mona Clayton, Susan Collins, Diana Wethington, Mike Miller and Cheryl Cummings and many great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in passing by his parents, brothers Horace Miller, Leslie Miller, and Harlan (Dale) Miller, and nephew James Miller and niece, Cindy Miller.

Roger was a 1956 graduate of Center Grove High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves.

He retired from Navistar (International Harvester) in Indianapolis, Indiana, in February 1989 after thirty years of service.

He was a member of the American Legion and attended Beech Grove Baptist Church in Trafalgar. He enjoyed horse racing, classic cars and was a NASCAR fan and Indianapolis Colts fan.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Due to COVID 19 mandates, masks and/or facial coverings are required with social distancing guidelines. A private family service will be live streamed on Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home’s Facebook page on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at Oddfellows Cemetery.
