Robbie Jean (Kirby) Ellis, 84 of Whiteland, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Indianapolis.

She was born on February 9, 1936 in Jackson County, Tennessee to Marshall and Melvina (Russell) Kirby. She married Douglas Rudolph Ellis on December 1, 1956. They were married for sixty-four years. He preceded her in passing on July 4, 2018. She is survived by son, Danny R. (Jan) Ellis of Franklin; grandson Logan Michael Parker of Whiteland and Andrew Scott (Haley) Ellis; great-grandsons, Patrick Joseph Ellis and Nicholas James Ellis; and sister, Juwiona Young of Franklin. She was preceded in passing by her parents; daughter, Lisa Gail Ellis Parker and brothers and sisters, Edward, Bernard, Clay, Zallie, Bradley, Velma Stubblefield, Molina Ellis and Betty Lou Snead.

Robbie attended schools in Macon County, Tennessee.

Robbie loved gardening, working in flowers and making quilts. She loved dachshunds.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, February 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Due to COVID19 mandates, masks and or facial coverings are required with social distancing guidelines. A private family service will be live streamed on Monday, February 1 at 1:00 p.m. on Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home’s Facebook page. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
