Jennifer A. (Wilborn) Whetstine, age 64 passed away Saturday evening, January 30, 2021 at her home in Brown County.

She was born September 10, 1956 in Indianapolis, to her parents, the late Elmer Cole and Martha Ann (Windle) Wilborn. Jennifer attended Brown County High School. She was a loving homemaker and worked as a custodian for Indian Creek School Corp. Prior to that, Jennifer worked as a custodian for Franklin Community School Corp and also worked as a Production Operator for Lear Corp in Edinburgh for more than 12 years.

She enjoyed tending to her flower & vegetable gardens, star gazing and listening to music of all kinds. Jennifer also enjoyed collecting angels and miniature keepsake items. She never met a stranger and will be remembered her willingness to always help others, her love of family and her famous pizza burgers and fried chicken and gravy.

Jennifer will be missed by her children, Heath (Pam) Whetstine of Nineveh, Jason Whetstine of Morgantown, Matthew (Tonie) Whetstine of Franklin, Nicole (Phillip Haddock) Fox of Brown County and Sophia (Martin Emerson) Morgan of Edinburgh; brother, Mark (Nancy) Wilborn of Peoga; father of her children, Nick Whetstine of Brown County, grandchildren, Heath Jr., Jason Jr., Rebecca, Shawn Dalton, Olivia, Darryl, Alexis, Jessica, Michael, Jennifer and Junior; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who all called her ‘Nanny.’

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Fred Wilborn, Timothy Wilborn and Judith Lasley.

The Rev. Michael Tetrick will conduct a funeral service 4 p.m. Wednesday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. All guests attending visitation and/or services will be required to wear a mask at all times in an effort to promote a safe environment.
